Ning was born and raised in Germany and has lived in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Switzerland. She holds a MArch l (AP) with Dean’s commendation from Harvard Graduate School of Design. As of July 2020 she is working for Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland. Toyo Ito & Associates （伊東 豊雄 建筑事务所）, Atelier FCJZ （非常建筑）and Vogt LA are amongst other offices she has worked with. A sharp sense for nuances in spatial composition and enthusiasm for urban cultural narratives are some of her greatest strengths. As a practicing consultant since 2018, she believes in cultivating each student’s imagination and passion in creating beautiful, relevant, provocative and refined projects, that speak to a broader audience beyond the architectural realm.
